The staff were very friendly and could organise a number of different additional services such as a cookery class, massage etc. The free mint tea offered in the evenings was excellent. Better than some we got at restaurants. The real, and open fire used on the chillier nights. The setup of the hotel gave a good impression of how people used to live in the traditional houses of Morocco. The location was easy to find and walk to from Jemaa El-Fna, the main square.
Most rooms didn't have doors on the bathrooms. They had curtains instead. This was a problem with little children and a lack of privacy. The services were all advertised in French. No documentation in English or even Arabic, which is the language of the country. Not all rooms have air conditioning. As a traditionally styled hotel, there was no elevator. People need to remember this when booking a Riad type hotel.

Great location and friendly service. Rooms were spacious and cute
I would recommend booking the superior rooms not the standard - we were on ground and first floor so a bit dark. Also the shower/bath water was quite temperamental.

The place is bery tipical and no luxury att all. First night we sleep very bad because the room was cold and the showet does not work very well but in the second day they change us for a better room and the rest of days was ok.
